Geray Mena is a visual artist who combines commercial practice and self-initiated projects.

Following his Photography MFA at EFTI, Madrid, he moved to Paris developing his career for several years linking up with London, and later on, Amsterdam, where he studied at Gerrit Rietveld Academie.

He started producing meticulously detailed staged images and films that examine the semiotics and seduction tools of contemporary image production navigating both, the art world and commercial.

His work includes commercial campaigns, editorials, books and international solo shows in galleries and museums such as CentroCentro, WOW Amsterdam, Luis Adelantado Gallery and Museum of Contemporary Spanish Art.

Since 2020 he has been enjoying the educational practice; teaching, giving lectures, and leading workshops at ESD and ÉCAL.
